After years of chronic emotional and binge eating caused me to balloon to 300lbs and develop several health problems before I even turned 25, I made a decision to change my lifestyle in order to better reflect who I wanted to become. I changed how I ate and made physical activity a consistent part of my daily life. I shed almost 150lbs in just over two years.
Although I had achieved my fat loss goals, my neglect of healthy habits had turned into an unhealthy obsession with being "healthy" every minute of every day. I was constantly obsessing over my appearance, how much I was eating, keeping my diet perfect, and working out every day. I thought that losing weight would free me from stress but instead it created more stress.
Over the past several years, I have completely transformed my relationship with food and my body. I no longer burden myself with crazy dietary restrictions, I no longer obsess over portion sizes and calories, and I have continued to make progress with my wellness and fitness goals.
My coaching program aims to help my clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies with a foundation that emphasizes nutrient-dense meals, whole foods, and most importantly: NO RESTRICTIONS.
My coaching program is tailored to your individual health, wellness & fitness goals, and can include personalized coaching sessions, instant messenger support, accountability, meal plans, supplement recommendations, and recipes.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University. I am currently still in college on track to be a registered dietitian. I believe in a holistic approach to health that addresses diet, physical activity, mental health, and utilizing the tools. I want my clients to feel fulfilled and happy, as well as properly nourished and fueled.
Using evidence-based practices is important to me, so I stay up-to-date with the latest research in health and wellness, so that I can provide the best possible guidance.
